The IBEA program was launched in 2004 and is the first program of its kind in Greece; it introduced modules related to the study of business in the European Union combined with a strategic approach to studying multinational corporations. Having lectures in English and working on projects with so many people from all over the world creates a wonderful, international atmosphere already at the TH. Of course having the chance to study and work in other countries is another highlight of the program.
This module aims to develop the financial understanding and knowledge of students within business organisations so as to enable them to make effective decisions and to assess the cost, economic and financial implications and outcomes of these decisions.
Designed to provide a strong academic background for transfer to a four-year college or university, this program combines specialized courses in international business with courses in the humanities, social sciences, science, mathematics, and traditional business courses.
This module aims to develop students awareness of cultural and ethical issues in an international organisational setting and to equip students with knowledge and skills needed to manage these issues effectively, thus enhancing their employability in a global work context.
The concentration is intended to prepare the student for administrative positions in international divisions of American companies; careers in the national or international government agencies concerned with international trade development, the establishment of international businesses; and careers in commercial and investment banking.
